This flawless restored beauty shines from every angle. The laser straight body is painted in its original color of Raven black. Powered by its number matching 245 hp, 312 ci V8 and 2-Speed “ Ford-o-Matic” automatic transmission. This iconic hardtop convertible is one of the most desirable collector cars of all time.

The first large scale production of a hardtop convertible in North America. Named for Henry Fords Fair Lane mansion in Dearborn Michigan. Advertised by Ford to be “10 years ahead of its competition” and the future of luxury motorcar traveling. It was only produced for 3 years.

The hardtop design was considered to be state of the art in 1957. Unlike most convertibles that operated with vacuum lines working off of engine power. The Skylines folding hardtop assembly required four lock motors, three drive motors, 10 power relays, 10 limit switches, eight circuit breakers, one neutral switch, one activating switch, one cycle indicator light switch, and 610 feet of wiring.
